Radonda was a Vanderbilt University medical student. Radonda Vaught enrolled at Western Kentucky University in 2012. The Tennessee Board of Nursing revoked her nursing license in 2021.

Charlene Murphey, 75, died after Radonda administered the incorrect medication. The patient was supposed to be given Versed, but Radonda instead gave him Vacuronium.
