Facebook has taken another step to keep families and friends together during this pandemic outbreak.
Facebook has designed a new COVID-19 community hub that will allow people to stay in touch as part of social distancing.
The new hub also aim to fight the corona virus misinformation and also to provide users with accurate information about the corona virus.
The community hub provides tips on keeping a physical distance with your loved ones while maintaining a connection with them.
This can be in the form of “scheduling a virtual play date with your kids’ friends or connecting with their teachers or other parents for school updates”.
The app can also help people to organize meetings or group video chats or text groups that will help the people to get support from one another.
The hub in collaboration with health organisations such as UNICEF, World Health Organisation and the Centers for Disease Control to deliver timely information and answers to public queries on COVID-19.
