Opulence, splendour and a touch of excessive society chatter is the theme du jour as “A Bridgerton Affair” involves Johannesburg on Saturday, March 26.

The soirée is in celebration of the highly-anticipated season 2 world premiere of the Netflix sequence, “Bridgerton”, on Friday, March 25.

The brand new season of “Bridgerton” sees Woman Whistledown “honing her abilities and sharpening her knives”.
Music artist Zakes Bantwini and an orchestra will get visitors twirling of their frocks and pantaloons as they ship “Bridgerton’s” soundtrack crammed with traditional covers of recent songs. Modern African music may even be lined by the orchestra.
