Ghana Airport company Limited has confirm the arrest of staff who was caught with several mobile phones believed to be for travelers.
In a release, the company reveled the said person was arrested by their Aviation Securities present at the airport and handed over to the Police for Interrogation.
“Our attention has been drawn to a video on social media involving a staff of Ground Handling company operating at KIA. He was arrested by Aviation security of Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) with several phones in his possession after handling an aircraft.
GACL Confirms that the incident occurred on Tuesday, 15th , 2020 and the individual suspected to have been involved has been handed over to the Airport District Police for Interrogation and appropriate action.” The company stated.
