The Chief Executive Officer of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Dr. Daniel Asare has assured Ghanaians that they on top of the fight against the Coronavirus.
According to the CEO, the measures put in by the government are robust enough which has catapulted their efforts to a new level.
Dr. Daniel Asare admitted that the fight was tough but took pride in the fact that the health workers are committed and dedicated to the desire to see Ghana overcome this fight.
He said this after the Ministry of Sanitation and the Ghana Water Company Limited had donated to the hospital to complement their efforts.
“We are gradually winning the battle against COVID-19 and we are being motivated, encouraged, so we shall work hard to overcome this deadly disease,” the CEO added.
“We will continue to provide support for all doctors and nurses leading the country to save the lives of those who have contracted the disease,” he concluded.
Ghana’s Coronavirus count is 195 at the moment with 5 deaths and 31 recoveries. Parts of the nation is currently under a partial lockdown to control the spread of the virus.
