Ghana National Fire Service appeals for fuel from the general public in their operations.
A letter from the office of a certain municipality in the Ghana National Fire Service goes viral appealing to the general public to come to their aid as they lack fuel in discharging their duties.
According to the office, the Government has been supplying fuel for their operations, but the subsequence increase in fire outbreaks has caused their rise in fuel consumption.
A signature of the Municipal Fire Officer DOI. Theophilus Dangbe was seen on the letter with a release date of 29th January 2021.
Per investigation made by Captain Smart, a radio and TV presenter for Angel Broadcasting Network, he visited about 27 offices of the Ghana National Fire Service and realized that 18 of their fire tenders are in bad condition as a result of poor maintenance.
