The Ghana Police Service replied to a man who said they will fish out NPP police officers in 2021 and deal with them.
A man recognized as Boutrous Andy might be really hot from now on after the Ghana Police Service replied to his comment beneath their post.
Following the Western Togoland demonstration which caused certain roads to be blocked, the Ghana Police Service wrote on their official Facebook page:
“Good morning Ghana, commuters to and from Accra – Ho – Aveyime – Adidome – Mepe – Akuse – Sogakope – Aflao are likely to experience traffic due to security operations within those areas. Anybody travelling on any of these roads should exercise caution.”
Beneath their post, Boutrous Andy fired:
“Everyday you’re doing operation in Ewe enclaves. Why? In 2021 we will fish out all npp police men and women and deal with them.”
Thinking that he had spoken his mind, the Ghana Police Service replied to him with:
“Boutrous Andy Sir, words spoken or written cannot be taken back. The operation is in the interest of well meaning Ghanaians.”
Immediately some Ghanaians started calling on the police to arrest and persecute Andy for exercising his freedom of speech.
