Ghana signs Memorandum to make Accra-Tema motorway a dual carriage road
The Government of Ghana has signed a contract agreement with Portuguese construction firm, Coglomerate Mota-Engil, Engenharia E Constructao Aftica S.A for extension project. As part of the agreement signed, the current 19.5 km motorway will see it’s freeway expanded into a two lane dual carriage, and its urban highway into a three lane dual carriage….
The Government of Ghana has signed a contract agreement with Portuguese construction firm, Coglomerate Mota-Engil, Engenharia E Constructao Aftica S.A for extension project.
As part of the agreement signed, the current 19.5 km motorway will see it’s freeway expanded into a two lane dual carriage, and its urban highway into a three lane dual carriage.
The freeway lane of the motorway will remain concrete surfacing whiles the urban highway will be in asphalt concrete with paved shoulders after the reconstruction.
