High-life musician, Lucky Mensah has stated emphatically High-life would have been dead hadn’t it been Kuami Eugene & co who came to rescue it from sinking down.

He told Doctar Cann on Happy FM’s ‘Showbiz Xtra; “if not for Kuami Eugene and co, like Ghanaian highlife would have been dead in the system.

Lucky Mensah now joins Amakye Dede who equally thinks Kuami Eugene’s presence in the music industry saved Hi-life from dying out from the system.

It could be recalled that Legendary Amakye Dede crowned Kuami Eugene at just ended VGMAs after they both gave out a heroic performance.

Ever since, many have sparked a wild debate online asking whether Kuami Eugene is the true savior of the genre.
