This new call has got the hashtag #IncreaseNssAllawa trending number 1 this morning on Twitter.
As it stands, personnel who undergo the 1-year compulsory service to the nation after completion of tertiary are taking home GHS559.
From comments sighted by Celebritiesbuzz.com.gh on Twitter, netizens are calling on the government to increase the amount because ‘things are now hard’.
The last time personnel witnessed an increase in their allowance was in April 2017.
The allowance was increased from GH¢350.00 a month to GH¢559.04 a month.

After national service, most personnel are not even retained. Others need this increment to save as start ups for their businesses. We're all not relying on government to give us jobs. We just need a push. #IncreaseNssAllawa
