Ghana’s creative Industry starts petition calling on Prez. Akufo-Addo to set Akuapem Poloo free

Efforts are still ongoing to make sure Akuapem Poloo does not serve the 90 days Jail sentence given to her. The Creative Industry of Ghana as part of that effort started an online petition which has already been signed by over 14,000 in attempt to get the attention of President Akufo-Addo to pardon the Actress….

Efforts are still ongoing to make sure Akuapem Poloo does not serve the 90 days Jail sentence given to her.

The Creative Industry of Ghana as part of that effort started an online petition which has already been signed by over 14,000 in attempt to get the attention of President Akufo-Addo to pardon the Actress.

In a statement leading to the petition, the Creative industry wrote “Over the last week and images resurfaced of the artist from the artist Akuamep Poloo and her six-year-old son.”

The image is one of creative license and is not a criminal matter We the creative industry of Ghana are appalled at the judicial system’s decision to jail Miss Paloo.

“We are calling on the president of the 4th Republic Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to pardon this young single mother who can be blamed for perhaps poor judgement but in no shape or form deserves incarceration.”
