Ghana’s oldest candidate for the 2020 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), Elizabeth Yamoah has become the talk of the town after successfully writing her final papers today.

Photos spreading on social media like wild-fire in harmattan see the 57-year-old woman been bathed in powder as a sign of victory.

Photos of the mother of 4 popped up on social media earlier this week when the BECE exams commenced. She was part of the many 531,705 candidates who sat for this year’s examination.

According to reports, Elizabeth Yamoah didn’t have the opportunity to attend school in her youthful age, but as determined as she is, she has tried her best to go through the basic education process.

She enrolled at the Odoben Presby Basic “A” Junior High School.

Congrats to her!!!
