Google has expanded group video call on duo app to support 12 people in a group video call at once.
Recent update of the app only supports eight people in a video call and now, it has increased to 12 people in it’s latest update.
This update of the app was as a result of the high demand in video call as many are now embarking on social distancing.
This version of the Duo is made official by google and is currently available for all duo users world wide.
Google announced the update on twitter through their Senior Director of Product & Design Sanaz Ahari on Twitter.
We are grateful that Duo is helping users see their loved ones all around the world. We recognize group calling is particularly critical right now. We have increased group calling from 8 participants to 12 effective today. More to come. #AllInThisTogether #COVID19
