They married in the year 1984 and has been together happily. They have three kids together — Maria Sue Chapman, Stevey Joy Chapman, and Shaohannah Hope Chapman.
In these times when divorce is rampant and people are not able to keep their marriages not even up to a year, they deserve an accolade for coming this far — 36 good years.
Commemorating this special day, Steven took to his Facebook handle and wrote:
“36 years ago today I took the hand(s) of this beautiful young lady and made a promise to love, honor and cherish her until one of us placed the other in the arms of Jesus. While I’ve done it so very imperfectly, because of the goodness and faithfulness of our Father, we’re still on this journey together! And while I’m still “a work in progress”, learning how to love, honor and cherish her, I’m so thankful for that privilege. I love you with all my heart, Mary Beth Chapman…my best friend and the love of my life…Happy Anniversary!
