Renowned Ghanaian gospel musician, Evangelist Diana Asamoah, has said the marriages and careers of some gospel musicians in Ghana have seen a downward turn because they believed lies.

According to the evangelist, pastors have been allowed to control the lives and choices of their congregants or followers and as a result, have left them in grave destruction.

Speaking on Okay FM, Diana Asamoah said she fought a lady who lied to her that she had to marry a pastor because she felt and believed it was a lie.

She said he got angry and nearly hit the lady with her Bible on the head to force her to say the truth since the Bible has the spiritual backing to force her to be delivered from her daylight nightmare.

Using fellow gospel artiste Joyce Blessing’s marriage as a case study, the gospel musician said whatever a pastor says should never be taken by the hook, line and sinker.

“Most men of God in Ghana are liars and they have ruined the lives of gospel musicians in Ghana. Look at what happened to Joyce Blessing. I will be rude to you if I feel you are telling me lies. If not for the Grace of God, I would have ended up like her.”

On the flip side, 54-year-old Diana Asamoah is yet to marry. Clearly, she is waiting for the right time.
