Guy defend Yaw Tog’s British accent freestyle, says it’s a special thank you message to Stormzy and not for the locals

Kumasi based Ghanaian Rapper, Thorsten Owusu Gyimah known in Showbiz as Yaw Tog has released a new freestyle that he titled ‘Me’.

His new freestyle however didn’t receive the best of welcome from large sections of Ghanaians who jumped on it with negative reactions.

The main problem a lot of them have leading to their criticism is the fact that the talented rapper was trying to flow in a British accent instead of his normal twi rap.

But according to one Twitter user, the purpose of the freestyle is to pay homage to American rapper Stormzy who nicely jumped on his Sore song for a remix.

“Yaw Tog made that freestyle as a thank you to Stormzy and not for the locals” the twitter user wrote.
