Harry Houdini was an escape artist, magic man, and stunt performer. Houdini was very well recognized as an escape artist. Houdini adopted his nickname from Robert Houdin, who was a French magician and Houdini’s spiritual master.

Harry Houdini also made appearances in films such as Merveilleux Exploits du Célébre Houdini à Paris, The Master Mystery, The Grim Game, and Terror Island.

Harry Houdini was married to Wilhelmina Beatrice Houdini, a stage assistant. Harry and Wilhelmina had no child.

Harry Houdini’s cause of death

Harry Houdini passed away on October 31, 1926, in Detroit, Michigan in the United States of America at the age of 52 years old. According to sources, Houdini died of peritonitis, which is inflammation of the inner wall of the abdomen.
