We are in the seventh month of the year and I’m sure we have all heard interesting rap tracks over the last few months.

1 . Medikal


Medikal has been consistent this year rocking a lot of shows and getting a lot of features as well.

His recent singles released are Adweeba, How Much, Yesu, Don’t Do Drugs etc. He has also been featured by Kwesi Arthur, Magnom, Falz, Epixode, Patapaa, Pope Skinny, DJ Breezy just to mention few.

He has so far been the most vibrant Ghanaian artist making him claim the number one spot

2. Sarkodie


The CEO of Sarkcess Music has hardly so far this year been able to give his fans a major hit song as he has always been known for.

He has been able to give back to back freestyles talk of his ‘Real Talk Freestyle’ to ‘Icon Freestyle’ & ‘Fa Ma Me’ and  managed to maintain a good form as he has some singles and features being played across the country.

His recent songs are ‘State of Mind’ featuring Scata Badda and ‘Can’t Let You Go’ featuring King Promise. He has been featured by Obrafour, Magnom and Becca so far.

3. Kwesi Arthur


Kwesi Arthur rose to fame after his Grind Day Remix which featured Sarkodie and Medikal made an instant hit.

He was nominated at the 2018 BET Viewers Choice African category.

He has after that been able to maintain a very good stamina releasing singles like: Forget College, No Title, My Guy, Woara etc.Kwesi Arthur has been equally featured by Medikal, Kwaw Kesse & DJ MicSmith, making him claim the 3rd spot.

4. Yaa Pono

Yaa Pono

Yaa Pono’s ‘Obia Wo Ne Master’ which featured Stonebwoy was a worldwide banger, selling him out and reconnecting him to his fans.

His current song ‘Like god’ is also receiving a massive airplay across the country and beyond.

He has been featured by Tinny, Ara B, Joey B and M,anifest.

 5. Tee Phlow


The Phlowducator has been been able to treat music lovers with songs such as: State of the Art, Intro, Koomi, Shine, God Bless You etc.

He has equally been featured by Adina, Edem and El as well.
