Though she died on Thursday, the death was discovered on Monday, four days later.
According to an insider who was interviewed on the news programme, the Deputy NEIP CEO had gone for fat transfers to some parts of her body but the operation went bad and she lost her life.
Dr. Obeng-Andoh, the insider revealed, refused to inform the family of the deceased woman, and rather jumped from one morgue to the other to have the corpse kept there.
However, all the three morgues he visited refused to admit the body for reasons that there was no family member among them.
The embattled doctor is said to have connived with a cleaner at the hospital, Edward Amponsah, to act like a family member, which he did.
That was when the dead body was finally admitted at a morgue in Accra, the insider said.
The doctor has thus been charged with murder, while his cleaner has been charged with impersonation, and the two are currently in police custody after being denied bail.
This is not the first time the Obengfo Hospital is in the news for this offence.
Few years ago, the hospital was shut down following the death of another woman who had also gone for liposuction and paid a sum of GHC12,000.
The health facility has also faced temporaries shut downs following the failure of Dr. Obengfo to renew his operation license.
He has been sent to court.
