Popular yet defeated Assemblyman aspirant of Adukrom Nima, Ibrahim Issah Ampim aka Hon. Aponkye is begging for support to continue with his free ‘koko; supply since he has run out of cash.
Hon. Aponkye was true to his word to supply residents of his electoral area with free breakfast in the form of Koko and bread.
In a video, he was seen with his face mask on as he moved with an entourage to deliver freely homemade local porridge to people who were in need of it.
However, benevolent Aponkye says he is short of money since it costs him GHS70 daily to prepare and serve the free ‘morli koko’.
Therefore, he is appealing to all to support him in cash to be able to carry on with this kind of initiative to support Ghana’s fight against COVID-19.
“You know when I started this ‘mmore koko’ project, it has gone a long way to help my people but unfortunately I am now unable to feed them because I am out of cash. I spend about GH¢ 70 to prepare the ‘koko’ to feed about 140 people and so I want my fans to help me,” he said.
His new friend who became a staunch fan of him in the run up to the local assembly elections, and ace broadcaster Nana Aba Anamoah interviewee him and he made the appeal.
