Nana Adabor Ibrahim Isaah Ampim aka Aponkye has stuck true to his words of providing free porridge to residents when he was aspiring for the Assemblyman of the Adukrom Nima Electoral Area.
Although he lost, he has found it prudent to embark on the free distribution of porridge which he promised before the elections.
Hon. Aponkye is doing this to support vulnerable people who for some other reasons apart from COVID-19 cannot fend adequately for themselves.
The Women Organizer explained to the media that Hon. Aponkye is very concerned about the welfare of his people and wants to do something substantial to alleviate the plights of people in this Coronavirus-induced lockdown.
He carried the porridge rubbed in disposal plastic wrappers and shared it to people in the community as his entourage followed him gallantly.
I have thought about my people and I want to do something to help them. I am not asking for pizza or cheese, what I am asking for is “morli Koko” ad tea. I do not want anybody to go hungry,’ he said.
