Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu is a Ghanaian politician and an estate developer.

He was born on the 3rd of February, 1957 in Bremang-Afrancho in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

He is a graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Planning. He graduated in the year 1982.

Career and Politics

He joined the Ghanaian Parliament in January of the year 1997. He has maintained his seat since then.

He is the chairperson for the Special Budget, House, and Business Committees.

Osei was elected as the member of parliament for the Suame constituency of the Ashanti Region of Ghana in the 2004 Ghanaian general elections. He won on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party.

He contested and won the seat again for the NPP in the year 2008. He has secured the Suame Constituency as a hub for NPP followers.

He is on the list presented to parliament for approval on 21st January 2021, by the president of Ghana Nana Akuffo-Addo, as the minister for Parliamentary Affairs nominee.
