Housewife arrested for attempting to sell her co-wife’s two-year-old son

A’isha Ibrahim was detained by the in Zamfara state, Nigeria, for reportedly attempting to sell her co-two-year-old wife’s boy in the Gusau region of the state.
The suspect, who is from Danyade Kaya village in Maradi, Niger Republic, was reportedly apprehended on January 8, 2022.

On Thursday, January 13, she was one of the suspects paraded by Zamfara Commissioner, CP Ayuba Elkana, during a news conference in Gusau.

She admitted to stealing the child from her co-wife in retribution for the co-theft wife’s and of her son. In addition, she needs to raise to her basic requirements.
