How did Rakesh Jhunjhunwala start?

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala got his start in the stock market shortly after completing his chartered accounting studies in his native state of Rajasthan. These days, he runs the show as CEO of RARE Enterprises, a stock trading business. Forbes estimates that his wealth was over $6 billion.

He borrowed money to purchase 5,000 shares of Tata Tea on the belief that the stock market was undervaluing the company’s potential for growth at a period of higher yield output. This agreement netted him his first sizable payment. In only a few short months, his initial investment had tripled in value.
