Few days ago, the President of the republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo pledged his three month salary to help strengthen the nation’s muscles to be able to shoulder the financial demands ahead. However, this seem not to be laudable to his opponent.

In what appears to be a direct shade to his political rival, the flag bearer for the biggest opposition party and former president of the republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama threw a mischievous shade in an interview with Joy news.

According to him, he does not think it is prudent to donate a future salary whilst the use for it is needed now. He stated that, “I believe that, donating my salary in future will not help; when will that salary come in? We need the items now and so if I have money, I will just use it to buy PPEs for Frontline health workers.

He however disclosed in the interview with joy FM that, he has made several donations to the health workers to help protect themselves during the fight against the deadly coronavirus.
