How to create a personal Gmail account.

Gmail is a free email service developed and tested by google. It provides gigabytes of cloud storage for it’s users in order to keep their email safe.

It is impossible not to have an email account if you are in the smart world so long as technology advancement is concern.

Many individuals and organisations normally communicate through email and this makes email very important in our life.

Gmail being the biggest free email service is highly recommended and it is very easy to create.

the steps below with the picture will guide you to create your own gmail account.

First step: visit gmail home page by clicking on the link www.gmail.com or you can type the link www.gmail.com into your address bar and hit enter on your keyboard.You should be taken to a page like the one in the picture below.

 

Second step: Click on create account and click on “For myself” when the options pops up. see the picture in step one above.

 

Third step: On the next page, fill the form with the necessary information and click on next. Please note that it is highly recommended to choose a strong password in other to secure your account. Make sure your password is mixed with numbers alphabets and signs. see picture below.

Fourth step: This step is very important. This step you need to verify your account with a valid phone number.Make sure you choose your country code before you type your phone number. Click next when you are done.

Fifth step: A verification code will be sent to your phone number which you have entered in step four. Type in the verification code in the space provided without “G-” and click on verify.

 

Sixth step: If you have any email that you can use to recover your current email, you type it in the space provided and fill the form with your birth information and choose your gender then click on next.

Seventh step: This step you can choose skip or yes, i’m in based on your own preference.

Eighth step: Review Google’s terms and services and their privacy policy and click I agree

That’s it congratulations you have created your personal email account. The next page after clicking I agree should look like the one in the picture below.
