John Dumelo says he is in a very strong position to win the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary sit. He disclosed 4 hours ago on Twitter that they are still waiting for the final declaration of results by the EC at the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.
“We are still waiting for the Electoral commission to declare the final results. By the projection, I am in pole position to win when all the results are verified by the EC,” – John Dumelo wrote.
Meanwhile, a confirmed report that came on the desk of Celebrities Buzz has it that, Lydia Alhassan has won the elections over John Dumelo.
The Ghanaian actor who contested on the NDC ticket pulled 37778 out of a total of 77604 valid votes. The incumbent MP, Lydia Seyram Alhassan gathered 39851.
PNC received 160 votes with independent candidate, Richard Amegatse polled 108 votes. The actor is yet to speak on this provisional results which is the best of the NDC in that constituency whilst Lydia Alhassan has already celebrated her victory in a Facebook post.
