I am not stingy as people think but I can’t change their perception about me – Sarkodie

Over the years, people have branded Sarkodie as a stingy person…time without number, he has been trolled on social media concerning this.

So as you might all know, the Sark Nation CEO is on a media tour prior to his Rapperholic Concert which happens on 25th December of every year.

Sarkodie was on Hitz FM this morning where he was quizzed on issues concerning the concert and general issues about the Ghanaian Music Industry.

The Host, Andy Dosty, asked him to clear the air on the stinginess tag placed on him.

In response, the ‘Advice” crooner said this tag of him being stingy all started as a joke but now people are taking advantage of it to get at him.

But then, he believes it’s social media…so he can’t prove himself…he doesn’t have to release a statement saying he’s not stingy.

More so, that’s people’s perception about him and he cannot change it.

However, the BET-Award winning rapper said he knows himself better and won’t live to please anyone.

So even though people want him to flaunt his kindness on social media, he’s not gonna do that just to please them.

Because deep within him, he won’t be happy if he showcase his kindness on social media as people want to see.
