AY Poyoo breaks silence on his inability to grab any nomination ahead of the upcoming Vodafone Ghana Music awards (VGMA).
In a Twitter tread, AY Poyoo reveals he filed for 4-5 nominations which includes Best new act and Popular song of the year with his Viral song titled ‘Goat’.
He continued by stating it categorically that even though he thinks he deserves a nomination the Award scheme ‘VGMA’ is a private one and that gives them the right to nominate whom they think deserves it.
The comic rapper is one of the breakthrough stars of the year and fair to say he is right to expect a nomination with the kind of impact he made and popularity he received less than a year into his music career.
