Grandpapa of Hiplife, Reggie Rockstone has said that he’s now fully into Waakye business aside music and running his pub.

He said business has been good in recent times especially due to the Coronavirus which has caused many people to coil inside their houses.

Reggie noted that he now sells more than 300 packs of Waakye in a day.

Talking on Shatta Wale labelling him as a poor person, Reggie said he doesn’t really care but rather he’s taking advantage of the hype to promote his business and make more money.

Elaborating on this, the member of VVIP music group said he has been in this business for a few years now and the likes of Sarkodie and Hollywood star Idris Elba has all patronized his services.

So he’s not going to allow any negative comment to kill his vim about his business.

He is happy with his business and believes selling waakye is his calling.

”Waakye is my brand. The waakye has been my food since my upbringing…My mother even made a video explaining how waakye was introduced into my life. So, waakye has been in my life from infancy…We’re trying to make it international”, he said on Nkonkonsa YouTube.

“This has been the biggest so far. In fact we have broken records. We have never sold this much ever before. We are moving as much as 300 packs of waakye day”.

He also noted that he has specialized in the waakye business rather than the pub because ”selling alcohol clashes with my spirituality. It disturbs me sometimes. It’s been on my conscience”.
