Shatta Wale has said that the bragging rights as the saviour of Ghana music industry is his.

In a new Snapchat post, he stated that he liberated the Ghana music industry and it’s something every one must know and admit to.

We can’t state for a fact what he did to save the industry.

However, over the years, the dancehall musician has been a pioneer calling for change in the music industry.

Some of the things he campaigned for in time past is that musicians must be paid better for their performances at concerts. Shatta was of the view that when foreign musicians perform in the country, they get paid more than local artistes and this must not be so.

He proclaims himself as one of the well paid artistes and that he was the one that raised the bar when it comes to those heavy charges.

Aside this, the father of 2 has been fighting for better royalties for musicians. He has also complained about things that affect the music industry and the need for them to be changed.

May be this is why he feels he’s the saviour thereof.

“I liberated this music industry. This they must know”,he wrote on Snapchat.
