Ghanaian comedian and satirist, Derrick Kobina Bonney aka DKB has debunked the perception people have of him that he is insulting and very vulgar.
DKB in an interview said, he makes fun of people especially celebrities for the sake of it and not to necessarily insult anyone.
During a talk with TV3’s Giovanni Caleb, the one time Big Brother housemate said:
” Most times, I’ve been hearing people say I insult people so I should understand when I’m being insulted. But I don’t insult people, I make a joke of people. What I do is trolling. Trolling means what you say is supposed to offend the recipient.” He stated.
Most people troll him too and describe him as Bighead. However, he added that most celebrities have come to know him and take his jokes on a lighter note.
“I make light of what people have done so we all make fun of it. So all those things I’ve been saying of artists like Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Samini and others don’t offend them because they understand what I do.” He said
DKB has made some jokes about some celebrities in the past which has landed him into trouble.
