I have to go to Ghana this year – American rapper, Wale

American rapper, Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, better known by his stage name Wale, has disclosed on Twitter that it’s a must for him to go to Ghana is year.

Making his intentions known on August 16th 2019, the rapper simply tweeted:

“I have to go to Ghana this year”

His tweet got the Ghanaian community on Twitter saying he’s welcome anytime, anyday.

South african media personality, Bonang Matheba, also commented under the tweet saying that she also wishes to come to Ghana this year.

“Me too” , she said.

Their comments are coming at the back of the current The Year of Return project which was launched this year, 2019.

The Year of Return, Ghana 2019 is a major landmark marketing campaign targeting the African – American and Diaspora Market to mark 400 years of the first enslaved African arriving in Jamestown Virginia.

In related Wale news, the rapper recently endorsed Patapaa.

As it stands, American Steve Harvey is also currently in Ghana.
