Most people after tasting fame cannot live the best of their private and peaceful lives. They can’t make public appearances without them getting people looking at them or bugging them for photos.
Well, Kumasi-based musician, Oseikrom Sikani, who has become popular in recent times is having the negative impact of what fame has brought him that he can’t even go and worship God in peace like he used to do.
He has revealed that his fame and wealth is the reason why he no longer goes to church.
Speaking on Pure FM, he said anytime visits church, fellow congregants worry him for photos and gifts, so he finds it hard to go.
“You know when they see you, this one will say he has money, that’s the rich man. Let’s take picture, let’s do this and that. You can see women like 9 asking me for gifts and because I cannot say no, I’ll promise them that next week. So next week, I won’t go to church. That’s why going to church has become some way for me“, he said in Twi.
