The election day is getting closer and Akua Donkor who is the Presidential Candidate for Ghana Freedom Party, promised to abolish speaking of English when voted into power.
During an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM, Akua Donkor made her intentions clear when asked about her plans for the country and how she will rule should she be given the nod ahead of other candidates on December 7th.
“I will abolish speaking of English language in Ghana ,it is by Wisdom that God creates we human beings so we don’t rule by English language but wisdom” she said
She believes the country’s stress to making English language an official language plays a role in it’s under development, hence the need to shift attention away from the Language and stick to our Local language.
