Bishop Stephen Kwesi Appiah, popularly known as ‘Jesus Ahuofe’ of the New Life Kingdom Chapel, has intimated that in his prophetic role, he will use wisdom.

Last year, when he was seen in a viral video predicting Shatta Wale’s death, the acclaimed man of God was jailed for allegedly causing fear and panic.

Jesus Ahuofe claimed he will prophesy if needed in an exclusive interview with Christian Agyei Frimpong on Onua TV’s holiday season broadcast, Onua Afenhyiapa. Because failing to say what God told him to means disobedience, which he can’t afford because of the consequences.
However, due to the new police regulations, he will exercise prudence in his prophetic ministry.

According to him, he said “Like my senior colleague pastors said we will say what God has instructed us to but with wisdom. So we don’t get into trouble. For this reason, I am not going too far again. The IGP has not stopped us from prophesying. His only concerns are prophecies that cause fear and panic. We agree with him 100 per cent. Because according to the word of God in Romans 13:1, the Word admonishes us to humble ourselves under authorities,”.

He also stated that he was unaware of the injunction prohibiting the prophet from predicting people’s deaths. And he recommended his colleagues to avoid from doing the same.

“We didn’t know such laws exist. The IGP recently revealed it to us, so I am advising my fellow pastors to be careful not to get into trouble. Maybe theirs will be harsher than mine,” Bishop Akwasi Appiah admonished his colleague Prophets.
