Bawumia is known to be an arrowhead of the economic and digital drive of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) before, during and after the 2016 general elections and the NDC is poised to get a strong force to reckon with him.

In an interview with Evan Mensah of the PM Express on JoyNews TV, Alex Mould asserted: “my pedigree shows that I have managed organisations successfully… if you’re talking about the economy, of course, I can deliver. If you’re talking about energy, I can deliver. If you are talking about any area whether its trade, industry, I can deliver.”

Alex Mould added that he believes he is a credible candidate for the running-mate position by stating: “I think there is a process that goes into it. The flagbearer has to work with the Functional Executives of the party in consultation with the elders and come up with criteria. If the call me and nominate me and I pass the criteria, I definitely will accept it.”
