Coronavirus has rendered many countries silent. Most activities especially economic ones have been put on hold due to the fear of contracting the coronavirus.
It is very true that the negative effect of coronavirus outweighs that of the positive but then, part of the positives need to be analyzed.
Many African countries hit by the virus has announced a partial or total lock down.
The reason being, to allow Health workers get space to regulate the rate at which the virus spreads.
Citizens in such countries have been given the privilege to enjoy their country’s asset for the first time freely and openly.
In some African countries, they have been provided with free electricity, water, food and even cash.
Although it isn’t a nationwide provision, the little places enjoying such a good initiative counts.
Some are even at peace to pay their rent at a comfortable time.
Could this have occurred without the outbreak of COVID-19? Damn no!
The outbreak of the pandemic has shown that, African leaders can make their countries an enjoyable place to be….
We need to rise as Africans after winning this ‘war’ with the virus and make our countries a better place like some foreign countries.
