Volta Region’s Awomefia of Anlo – Togbi Sri has warned the politicians behind the deployment of military officers into their region ahead of this year’s General Elections and new Voters register.

Awomefia of Anlo – Togbi Sri has issued a strong warning after the Ketu South NDC alleged that some military officers have been deployed into their region ahead of this year’s General elections.

According to the Ketu South NDC members, per the information gathered has it that such military officers are allegedly tormenting the lives of Voltrians at the expense of other regions in Ghana.

That forced Togbe Sri to announce that anything that will go contrary to promoting peace on the Anlo land ahead of the new voters’ registration and general elections, may result in something else.

He stated that there is no way anyone will torment Voltarians on their own land.

Sounding very cautious, he said the Volta Region warriors won’t use any gun or offensive weapon but they will ensure that the politicians who may cause chaos on their lands die before their oath of office comes near.

He also stressed that on record, Voltarians are peace-loving citizens and would not allow that to be misused.
