December 7th is Ghana’s parliamentary and presidential elections and The Ghana Union Movement (GUM) Presidential Candidate, Rev. Christian Kwabena Andrews has made a big promise to Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) trainees.
The man of God popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom has promised that when elected, he’ll increase the salary of the NABCO personnel by 100%.
He noted that he’s worried about how the personnel get paid a little amount as GHC700 at the end of every month. Hence, he’s determined to change that narrative once he becomes president.
“Though the NABCO initiative forms part of the current government’s plan of addressing Ghana’s high unemployment challenge, the treatment given to the trainees makes the programme meaningless,” he alleged.
He expressed his readiness to make the work of the NABCO trainees sustainable when elected as President.
He made this known in his recent interview with Journalists.
