E.L was one of the biggest artistes 3 years ago after after he bagged the Artiste of The Year at that year’s VGMA.
He was tipped to take Ghana to the world but unfortunately failed to do so 3 years down the line.
It is unclear whether he felt reluctant or Ghanaians just chose to ignore him.
In a recent interview on Radio Central, the ‘Lalafalama’ rapper said he’s at a place in his career where winning awards is not that important to him.
According to him, he’s past that level now and is concentrated on more important things in his career.
“VGMA is an award but there are important things than an award. When you get to the [level] I am now you will realize there are more important things.
“When you win an award it’s a plus, people will see you and recognize you for winning. But there are [more] important things, that’s why I’m not focusing on VGMA again.” he said.
