On 13th June 2020, Nana Appiah Mensah signed a new musician called Tisha Bentil unto his Zylofon Music record label much to the chagrin of Menzgold customers.

A lot of people were of the view that NAM 1 as he’s affectionately called is not done paying Menzgold customers their locked-up cash yet, he’s going about signing new musicians on his record label.

Well, NAM 1 has surely heard the complaints from people and has responded to them accordingly.

Taking to Instagram this morning, NAM 1 posted a press release with a ‘To Whom It May Concern’ title.

In the open letter, he answered his critics who are saying Menzgold and Zylofon are the same so he should rather use the money he’s investing in musicians to pay Menzgold customers.

NAM 1 wrote that to say Menzgold and Zylofon Music are the same is “a very low shot at logic and a glaringly incredible display of intellectual deficiency or bankruptcy”.

“A child and his/her sibling may have the same biological parents, are obviously from the same family but are two different individuals in every respect. This is a firm factual point at law and principle”, he explained.

NAM1 also pointed out that his purpose of still going ahead with the operation of Zylofon Music is to use funds generated from there in assisting other sister companies key of which is Menzgold.

“In any case, if one is indebted and does not get productive, how is he or she expected to generate income to service or pay off the debt? We as a formidable group need, we must and shall open up on our income streams by resorting to the very little human and capital resources at our disposal, to wisely and tactfully, get productive as a group to pay off completely soon just so we can salvage an ailing proud member of our sect as quickly as possible”, part of the statement reads.
