Burninton Music Group signee (BMG) Okailey Verse, popularly called OV has reacted to the exit of her former record label mate, Kelvyn Boy from BMG.

The beautiful Afropop/Afrobeats artist told Abeiku Santana in an interview on Okay FM that notwithstanding whatever has ensued between his boss Stonebwoy and Kelvyn Boy, the latter is still a family and they would continue to share their beautiful moments.

She said:

I’M STILL SIGNED ONTO BMG, ALL THAT I KNOW IS KELVYN BOY IS STILL MY BROTHER, BLAKK CEDI IS STILL MY BIG BROTHER AND STONEBWOY IS MY PAPA, WE ARE STILL FAMILY AND WOULD REMAIN FAMILY NO MATTER WHAT. WE WOULD CONTINUE TO SHARE OUR BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS.

Stonebwoy released a press statement on Tuesday to confirm that indeed, the music marriage between BMG record label and Kelvyn has ended.

According to the statement released on his Instagram page, the company has taken this decision due to the Burniton Music Group auditing its relationship with its officers and associated acts.

The Burniton Music Group explained that Kelvyn Boy’s one (1) year contract with the group expired in January 2019. There was an option to renew the contract. However, due to the conduct of Kelvyn Boy during his tenure with BMG, they have decided to let him go.
