Interpol and Spoon Plot Co-Headlining Summer Tour

Indie rock heavyweights Interpol and Spoon will embark on a co-headlining tour on the finish of the summer time.

The “Lights, Digicam, Factions” trek will kick off Aug. 25 on the Stone Pony Summer season Stage in Asbury Park, New Jersey and wrap with two nights in Portland, Oregon, Sept. 17 and 18, at Pioneer Courthouse Sq.. On all dates besides Aug. 26 in Toronto, Interpol and Spoon will likely be joined by their fellow Matador Data label mates, the Goon Sax (the invoice for that Toronto present will function Metric as an alternative). Moreover, the Sept. 2 present in Atlanta will solely function Interpol, whereas the Sept. 4 present in Nashville will solely function Spoon.

Tickets for all exhibits will go on sale this Friday, April 1.

On high of their co-headlining run, each Spoon and Interpol have their very own excursions scheduled for his spring. Interpol will launch a North American run in Dallas on April 25, with a string of European exhibits following in June. Spoon will get the primary leg of their North American tour underway April 6 in Boston, with shorter second trek scheduled for late Could and early June.

Again in February, Spoon launched a brand new album, Lucifer on the Couch, marking their first in 5 years since 2017’s Scorching Ideas (Rolling Stone referred to as the band’s tenth studio album “one of the best factor they’ve ever carried out”). Interpol, in the meantime, lately completed recording their seventh studio album, working with producers Flood and Moulder at Battery Studio in London; the LP will comply with the group’s 2018 effort, Marauder.
