The well-known actor was from Ikija in Ogun but was born in Lagos State’s Idumota neighbourhood on Lagos Island.

The hilarious actor narrowly escaped death in 2014 while filming “Igbo Sambisa” because he sustained an inside wound that caused him to bleed out of his nostrils.

He was taken urgently to the hospital, where he got the help he needed.

In “Aje ni Iya mi,” Tunfulu played the role of Dejo for the first time. His acting career began when he made his first appearance on the television show “Theatre Omode” in his early years.

He was greatly influenced by the acting careers of Kayode Olasehinde (Baba Ajirebi) and Fausat Balogun (Madam Saje), with whom he worked closely.

A few years later, he joined the Akuko Gagara Theatre Group and Kolawole International Theatre Group.

He made his television debut in 1987 as part of the Kolawole International Theatre Group’s drama series “Apere Ijongbon.”

He became well-known for his performance in the movie “Omo Oran,” which also starred seasoned actor Fatai Adetayo (Lalude).

Is Dejo alive?

On Friday morning, his coworker Kunle Afod announced his passing on Instagram. “You posted a few days ago, Dejo Haaaaa,” he wrote.

He was 50.

As of the time of publication, there are still few specifics about his passing, but his coworkers and fans have flooded his social media pages to express their condolences.
