Nancy was born on June 8, 1940. She is the eldest of the three children born to Frank Sinatra and his first wife, Nancy Barbato. She started singing in the late 1950s and made her professional debut in 1960 on her father’s show The Frank Sinatra Timex Show: Welcome Home Elvis.
She signed to her father’s label in 1961 and released her first single “Cuff Links and a Tie Clip,” but it was a flop. In other to get her career on track, music producer Lee Hazlewood made her over, completely changing her look and style. Nancy dropped her single “These Boots Are Made for Walkin”. It was an instant hit and sold over a million copies.
Nancy went on to deliver more hits, she recorded the soundtrack for the James Bond series You Only Live Twice. Nancy also featured in movies like Beach Blanket Bingo, The Wild Angels and The Last of the Secret Agents?
