Isaac Marquez is a man who was born with Down syndrome and has a great passion for Mixed Martial Art (MMA). He has always had the dream of competing in a mixed martial arts competition. His mother died of dementia.
Isaac Marquez was helped by Diego Sanchez to train at the latter’s training center in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2017. The Shermanator, as he has been nicknamed, became friends with Diego Sanchez ever since.
Sanchez even took him for an exhibition bout at a Jackson Wink Fight Night of which Marquez dedicated to his deceased mother.
According to Isaac Marquez, also known as The Shermanator, he has been able to fulfill his life’s dream of competing in MMA. According to Diego Sanchez, he only wanted to see Marquez healthy.
