Ghanian Youtuber and Social Media Influencer Malik Ofori has refuted the popular saying that abroad is just like home and that there is nothing extraordinary about it.
In a recent tweet, the young YouTuber admonished his fans never to accept the narrative because abroad is really fun to be.
His tweet garnered a lot of affirmative responses. 95 percent of the replies were in agreement with Malik Ofori that abroad has got something extra to offer.
Mant Ghanaians and Africans dream of making a trip to the diaspora in search of greener pastures. They have always believed that the grass is always greener on the other side.
This has culminated in a strong desire and sometimes reckless risks young people take to make it to Europe or the U.S.
A recent survey conducted in Africa shows that more than 75 percent of the citizens in these countries will like to travel out if the chance arrives.
