As you might all know, it normally takes 9 months for a pregnancy to fully get ‘ripe’ in other for a baby to be delivered.

However, that’s not the case of our Dancehall King Shatta Wale as his mother have revealed that he spent 13 solid months in her womb before he was born.

Tomorrow Sunday 12th May, 2019 is Mother’s Day and as such, Peace FM’s Kwasi Aboagye hosted mothers of some Ghanaian celebrities and he had a nice time interrogating them about their children who are doing great as superstars.

Shatta Wale’s mother, Mama Elsie Evelyn Avemegah was also interviewed and it was during the session that she revealed that Shatta spent 4 extra months in her womb.

She said,

“It took me 13 months to give birth to Shatta Wale, I did a pregnancy test and it proved positive but the baby won’t shake inside me.”

“Shatta Wale’s dad even thought it was a fibroid and not pregnancy. I passed through a lot when I was pregnant.

“Even the delay in given birth caused some sort of fight between myself and Shatta Wale’s dad, and so back then, i used to be worried when he didn’t want to see or talk to me back then, when i go to his place, he would tell his boys he wasn’t around and more”.

On whether she’s now proud of her son, she said, “I feel proud to give birth to a superstar like him.”

This alone tells a lot about Shatta Wale. LOL
