Jayde Pricilla Gail Adams is a British comedian, actor, writer, and singer who was born on November 26, 1984. She is originally from Bristol. She was the recipient of the Funny Women award in 2014 and was a finalist for the Best Newcomer category at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2016.

Adams was born in Bristol, and for 13 years, she and her sister took freestyle disco dancing lessons from their aunt.

She moved to South Wales when she was 18 and went to The University of Glamorgan to study drama, theater, and media. Jayde did experimental theater and modern dance in Wales at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay. She lives in Leigh-On-Sea right now.

In 2015, Adams was asked to join several other Adele impersonators for a BBC show about impersonators. He had been doing Adele impressions on the drag scene in London.

Adams walked out of the recording studio and said, “I thought it was going to be a reality show.” She didn’t get to meet Adele when the BBC and Graham Norton set up a prank for Adele at the BBC because she didn’t trust the producers.

She supports the LGBT community and works closely with drag performer Jonny Woo. After her sister died in 2011, Jayde started performing live at drag bars like the Royal Vauxhall Tavern. She often says that the LGBT community in London helped her gain confidence.

Adams, Melanie Blatt, Nicole Appleton, and Shaznay Lewis from the All Saints, Jaime Winstone, and British fashion designer Gareth Pugh were all judges at Miss Sink The Pink 2018, which was held at The Roundhouse in Camden in March 2018.
